Stroke

Stroke commonly known as paralysis, occurs when blood supply to a part of the brain is interrupted or reduced,

preventing brain tissues getting oxygen and nutrients. As a result brain cells begin to die in minutes. Intravenous injections and mechanical thrombactomy is done to treat this condition.

Mechanical Thrombectomy

This is a endovascular technique which is done to remove clots in blood vessels in brain causing paralysis. It is done in cathlab with special equipments and software.

Aneurysm

An excess localize enlargement of a blood vessel wall. Brain Aneurysm is a ticking time bomb. A rupture aneurysm can result in internal bleeding stroke and sometimes be fatal. The condition is treated by stenting and coiling of aneurysm to avoid rupture.

Caroid Artery Stenosis

Caroid artery stenosis is narrowing of the large artery located on each side of the neck that carries blood to head, face and brain. The narrowing usually results from atherosclerosis or build-up of plaque on the inside of the arteries.

Any person who has developed minor stroke needs screening of caroid artery to diagnose this condition. These blocks can be opened by stenting and angioplasty.

Arteriovenous Malformation (AVM)

An AVM is an abnormal tangle of blood vessels connecting arteries and veins which disrupts normal blood flow and oxygen circulation. It can be cured by Embolisation.
