Hi-Tech Hospital, Raurkela was established as the 1st private hospital of Eastern Odisha, founded through the pioneering efforts of doctors of national repute. Today, it is a multidisciplinary health centre offering a full range of diagnostic & clinical services across cardiology, orthopaedics, oncology, neurosciences, nephrology, and 10+ other specialties.
Our 535+ bed campus includes 100 ICU beds across ten specialized units: Medical, Surgical, Cardiac, Paediatric, Neonatal, Neuro, Trauma, Burns, and Respiratory ICUs, plus High Dependency Units; supported by modern operation theatres, diagnostic laboratories, and a well-stocked blood bank.

The reception staff guided us properly from the beginning, so we didn't have to keep asking around where to go. The process was smooth and the staff were helpful throughout. Overall, we had a good experience at Hi-Tech.
My wife Dolli Devi was admitted here with scrub typhus. Her condition was very serious, she could not breathe properly and her oxygen level had dropped to 60%. I was terrified of losing her. Dr. Rajeev Ranjan and his team started treatment right away and monitored her closely. Slowly her oxygen improved and she started getting better. Today she is being discharged and I cannot express how relieved I feel. Thank you Dr. Rajeev Ranjan and the entire nursing staff who saved her life.

We came for physiotherapy based on a doctor’s recommendation. However, the hospital’s physiotherapist asked us to come to his personal clinic for the treatment. This is concerning, as patients coming to the hospital for doctor-recommended physiotherapy are being redirected to the physiotherapist’s private clinic, apparently for personal financial gain. The treatment should be provided through the hospital when the patient has been referred there.

I am sharing this review after experiencing truly exceptional healthcare services at Hitech Medical College and Hospital, Rourkela. This hospital offers some of the best facilities at a very affordable cost, right in our neighborhood. During a recent medical emergency, I rushed a patient to the emergency department and was deeply impressed by the coordinated efforts of everyone — from the security staff and reception team to the nurses and doctors.The patient was admitted to the general paediatric ward, and our 48-hour stay there was remarkable. The doctors and nurses displayed compassion, dedication, and genuine care despite their busy schedules. The nursing staff went above and beyond to comfort the baby while ensuring proper treatment. I would also like to appreciate the pharmacy and billing departments for making the entire process simple and smooth. I am truly grateful to Hitech Medical College and Hospital and proud that Rourkela has access to such outstanding healthcare facilities.
