Prof. Manish Kiran graduated from Madras Medical College and completed his M.S. in Orthopaedics from SCB Medical College, Cuttack. He also completed his Diplomate in Orthopaedics from the National Board of Examinations in India. He subsequently undertook his orthopaedic training in the UK, where he received the Ian Smillie Award for Academic Excellence during his MCh (Orth) at the University of Dundee. He completed FRCS (Trauma and Orthopaedics) from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, United Kingdom.

He has completed fellowships in lower limb arthroplasty, arthroscopy and complex trauma at various renowned centres in the UK and Europe. He has previously worked as a Consultant at Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Trust and University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Trust.
